Our fleet is based in Whitecourt Alberta and we are currently hiring drivers based out of Hinton, Edson, Grande Cache, and Whitecourt to haul bulk wood fiber with b-train and walking floor units.

The Opportunity:

As a Class 1 driver with Whitecourt Transport, you’ll be driving newer model Kenworth and Freightliner tractors pulling well maintained Live floor trailers and/or Super B chip trailers. We offer driving positions based in Grande Cache, Grande Prairie and Whitecourt Alberta

Job Duties

• Perform daily vehicle inspection and communicates all vehicle maintenance issues with local shop staff
• Load and deliver wood chips, sawdust, and bark mulch from overhead bins
• Tarp trailers with easy-to-use roll tarps
• Unload trailers using hydraulic truck tipper system
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle in compliance with company standards
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures

Requirements

• Class 1 license
• Minimum 3 years Tractor/Trailer driving experience
• Must be based in Hinton, Edson, Grande Cache, or Whitecourt
• Must have own transportation
