WTI Environmental is a division of Whitecourt Transport Inc. We are a full service equipment contracting and transportation logistics company that works collaboratively with our customers to meet the demands of the most challenging environmental projects.

Civil Earthworks

We specialize in road construction, site grading, drainage solutions, and installation of septic systems and underground utilities.

Bulk Hauling

We are a recognized industry leader in transportation logistics and bulk hauling. We have a large fleet of trucks and trailers of all types that enable us to efficiently transport large volumes of soil, sand, gravel, sawdust, wood pellets, logs, and bulk liquids. Our experienced and dedicated dispatch team can put the wheels under our project and help you get it down the road.

Soil, Sand, Gravel, & Landscape Supply

We supply and deliver sand, clay, aggregates, pit run, rip rap, gabion rock, sawdust, wood pellets, peat moss, screened topsoil, and black dirt. Bulk product deliveries are made with end dumps, and tri drive & quad wagon configurations.

Watercourse Crossings

We design, fabricate open bottom arches, temporary and permanent bridges to create fish-friendly watercourse crossings that comply with the Alberta Code of Practice for Watercourse Crossing (COP WCC)

Forestry Services

We provide scale & log yard management, log haul logistics, picker truck hauling, road building & deactivation, cutblock reclamation, ROW clearing, fibre waste grinding, site preparation, and seedling transport.

Remediation, Reclamation & Restoration

WTI Environmental offers a range of project management and heavy equipment services to support Asset Retirement Obligation (ARO) processes. We collaborate with clients and technical experts to achieve positive environmental results in a timely and cost effective manner.

We offer a wide range of environmental services including: Emergency spill response, excavation of contaminated soil, offsite transportation and disposal, bioremediation, soil and sludge stabilization, abandonment & removal of surface and subsurface facilities, reclamation and restoration.

We are also experienced in the construction of engineered treatment facilities, ponds, landfill, and barrier systems to prevent contaminant migration.

Forest Reclamation

We have extensive experience reclaiming a variety of sites in forested areas including cutblocks, logging roads, inactive and abandoned right-of way’s wellsites, gravel pits and former oil and gas facilities. We work closely with silviculture experts to apply site preparation treatments and coordinate tree planting activities and follow-up monitoring to enable our clients achieve their reforestation goals.
